Quick important notice.

A new regulation has been in effect for the past few months in the municipality of Sainte-Marthe. From now on, campfires are only permitted if you use an outdoor fire pit equipped with a spark screen.

👉 In short:
No spark screen = no fire 😉

A properly safe fire pit must:
✅ Be protected with a spark screen with mesh openings no larger than 1 cm²
✅ Be installed on paving stones or on cleared ground (packed earth, sand, or gravel)
✅ Be placed at a safe distance from buildings, fences, trees, or shrubs

We are counting on everyone’s cooperation to follow this regulation. A $250 fine may be issued to anyone who chooses to play cowboy.

We wanted to give you advance notice, as we know campfires are part of the camping experience. This gives you time to make sure you are compliant if you are not already.
